19.08.2010: Nati and me did the “Sweet Punishment Workout” together in our living room. Love it that you do not need any equipment nor lots of space and you can actually make yourself sweat and your body work at its highest level!

ANOTHER TWO LAZY DAYS, BUT NOW IT’S OVER!!!!

25.08.2010: “600 Rep Sexier Body Workout” Absolute horror workout both Nati and me were exhausted! It took Nati 34.5 min. and me 36.5 min. NOT BAD!

One challenge is not enough…

Hey all!

Two days ago I have registered myself to the Nike Night Run TLV which will take place on 10.10.2010. I am an absolute catastrophe when it comes to running as I always thought that it was terribly boring and the purest form of torture on earth. However…..this has become a challenge to me! Hopefully, I am going to run 10 kilometers through the streets of Tel Aviv on 10.10.2010! I am practicing really hard :)

And this is going to be my running shirt:

This has obviously changed my workout routine so that every second day I am running instead of doing one of the Bodyrock.tv workouts…..BUT, my boyfriend, Nati, has joined me in the Bodyrock.tv workouts and is slowly but surely (as his abs becomes more and more toned) losing his last drop of skepticism about whether these workouts actually work!!!

16.08.2010: ADR=Active Day of Rest. Honestly, my ADRs do not have anything to do with RESTING! I simply do some other kind of sports activity other than a Bodyrock workout. And believe me or not, I feel guilty NOT working out with Zuzana for 1 (!!!) day!

17.08.2010: “Kiss My Tight Ass Workout” MUAAAAAAAAAAAH!

18.08.2010: “Booty Firm Up Workout“: Although the whole idea is working with two intervals of 20 seconds each, doing 6 rounds which add up to 4 minutes, I believe that it would be smarter to set the interval timer in a way that between the two exercises of 20 seconds each, you would have a “break” of 5 seconds which obviously would not serve as a real break but give you a very short moment to get into next starting position. Like this you would be working out for the full 20 seconds and not lose the first few seconds to actually get started!

11.08.2010: My active day of rest. Crossed whole Tel Aviv by foot (North-South) and got really tanned!  The muscle cramps at night were at least as bad as after a bodyrock workout!

12.08.2010: “Hardcore Workout - Abs Attack “. Had to leave out the first exercise as I don’t have any weights to attach to my legs and arms; and thought that with pure body weight it would not really work. Still, the workout was more than intensive!

Everything has its price…

For my workouts I use a jumping rope, push up bars (only because I have got some problems with my right hand and the push up bars allow for a better distribution of the pressure on my wrists), a gym mat, and an interval timer. As you can see, these workouts do not require a lot of equipment!

As we don’t have any scale at home, my exact bodyweight is unknown to me. However, as you may know, your bodyweight does not really tell much about your fitness level, how firm your body is, how the weight is distributed, your fat percentage, your muscle percentage etc.

Still, I needed to find a way to track how my body is (hopefully) going to change. What I did find at home was a tape measure and this is what I found:

upper arm right: 17 cm

upper arm left: 16.5 cm

waist: 67 cm

belly button height: 75 cm

hips: 87 cm

upper thigh right: 52 cm

upper thigh left: 53 cm

Let’s see if something is gonna change anytime soon….

But, let me tell you: I have noticed already some small changes ;)
